TESTING TYPES

The assay test bench allows the following types of tests and adjustments:

determination of the volume of fuel injection doses for different shaft speeds of the high-pressure fuel pump, corresponding to:

• engine start (starting dose),
• idling (dose of idling),
• the beginning and end of the positive and negative adjustment,
• engine rated power (nominal, so-called measuring dose), as well as revolutions, defining the so-called high-speed characteristic of a high-pressure fuel pump;

• determining the speed of rotation of the start and end of the fuel injection shutdown by the rotation speed regulator (maximum idling speed), defining the so-called adjustable speed range;
• geometric start of compression (adjustment of the preliminary stroke), as well as angular gaps between sections of the high-pressure fuel pump;
• scatter (non-uniformity) of doses of fuel injected by different sections of the high-pressure fuel pump, which should not exceed 2% of the nominal dose;
• operation of the electromagnetic shut-off valve;
• checking the suction discharge of the feed pumps;
• checking the injection pressure of the feed pumps;
• checking the performance of feed pumps;
• check of tightness and permeability of the fuel filter.
